Jeremy Wright says that he is selling a major blog for someone.
He gives a few hints, and I have a few guesses, although none seem to match all the clues.
The hints: - It is in the Top 100 in most major lists, except Technorati
.
- It receives awards.
- It is quoted in major worldwide newspapers on a weekly basis.
- PageRank - 7
- Makes $2000 a month, but should be making 2-3 times that (which implies few ads, but a lot of traffic).
- 150,000 pages indexed in Yahoo/MSN, 60,000 in Google.
- Worth roughly $1,000,000 through Dave Carlson's calculator.
- Been around for 2 1/2 years.
- Single writer, not a group blog.
- Reports on an industry, and that people are coming for the industry, not the writer.
- Not part of a network.
All I know is, it probably has to be on this list, and obviously can't be on this one. Best guess wins a cookie (and not a tracking cookie).
