Dell Signs European Managed Services Contract

Dell has earned a three-year multimillion-dollar contract from Honeywell to manage its 16,000 desktop and notebook computers in 15 European countries.
As part of the agreement, Dell will provide Honeywell a full array of managed services, including installation, advanced service desk, hardware support and asset management. The first phase of the contract begins immediately in the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Belgium.
"The quality of our managed service offering and its comparative value are what Honeywell and other customers have come to expect from Dell," said Gary Cotshott, vice president and general manager of Dell Services. "Dell's flexibility and commitment to cost effectively deliver the services Honeywell needed were key factors in winning this business. Dell's Managed Services portfolio enables our customers to deliver a great experience to their end-users and save money."
