Google Spirits Friendster Away From Yahoo
By: Nathan Weinberg 2007-03-12 Google has signed a deal to provide advertising on social networking site Friendster, scoring a deal that had previously belonged to Yahoo. Friendster's deal with Google is a multi-year one to serve Friendster's 19 million monthly visitors and 6 billion monthly page views. Friendster ain't what it used ta be, but it is another notch in Google's bedpost.
