Echo Nest Raises Another $1.3 Million

Music intelligence developer Echo Nest has raised $1.3 million in venture funding. According to the SEC filing the round included 14 unnamed investors.

The company previously raised a round of capital lead by Commonwealth Capital Ventures.

The companys web site says that it is developing a "musical brain" to understand the latest trends, buzz and fan opinion based on previous research from MIT, Columbia and the U Cal Berkeley.
