Yeah, the title is a lie. While most people would be in deep trouble if they were earning a salary of only $1 a year...

...methinks Sergey Brin, Larry Page and Eric Schmidt will be just fine. They’ve got, what, at least a few grand in savings, right?

But, in all seriousness, the big three did get paid just a buck, and, for some reason, Schmidt and Page got awarded a $1,630 bonus, while Brin got $1,723. While you may be wondering why the hell they got bonuses at all, I’m wondering why Brin got more. Gotta wonder.

Of course, don’t be surprised that if the stock stays flat, we start seeing real salaries and bonuses, at some point, for these guys. That, or dividends.
